Every morning there are mountains to climb

Walking outside in your PJ’s is something that Japanese people don’t seem to do. Even if it’s just for a harmless コンビニ run. At least it’s not something I’ve come across since living in Tokyo. If you leave the house, you wear your respectable outside clothes or it’s nothin’.

Walking outside in your PJ’s whilst going through your neighbour’s hard garbage is something Japanese people definitely don’t do. EVER.

I did both of these things. Simultaneously. I am a spectacle; a splendid and sordid individual.

File this under: muck.
